As an avid painter, I have worked with the arts all my life. I have exhibited in international venues, including the International Festival in Houston, Texas, the Carnegie Center for Art and History in New Albany, Indiana, and the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center, Auburn, New York, as well as locally in the Sarasota Orchestra Harmony Gallery, Art Center Sarasota, Lighthouse Center for the Arts, Tequesta, FL, and the Venice Art Center. I earned my BS and MS, teaching for sixteen years before devoting myself full time to my art.
The world around me and especially the people in it are my constantly changing sources of inspiration. We look at someone's face, but there is so much more. Their essence, their thoughts and motivations are there to be read. Sometimes our faces say so much more than our voices.
Our surroundings say more than the ordinary too. Each place reminds us of special things - a visual message. I hope you find intriguing messages in my work.
