Early Fall Sailing
Early Fall Sailing_JoAnn Golenia copy.jpg

Here’s the third in this little mini-series of Views of the Lake. This could be any good-sized lake but here it shows a distant view of Lake Champlain in New York. Of course, the higher you go, the earlier the leaves begin to turn in the fall. Fall sailing can be a beautiful thing!

The second view of the lake is from Poke-O-Moonshine Mountain hiking trail in upstate New York. The mountain is just off of Route 9, south of Keeseville. The trail is a little steep but the round trip hike is only 3.6 miles. From the top there are 360 degree views of the High Peaks and Green Mountains in Vermont, and Lake Champlain.

Set the Path

Here’s the final scene of the sky, mountains and path. I’ve combined the yellow sky but used a pink land area with a slight reflection of the yellow sky. These were so much fun. I hope you enjoyed them. If you would like any of these pieces and need a mat cut to fit for use with an 8” x 10” frame, let me know on the contact page. (https://joanngolenia.com/contact). Also, let me know if you would like it shipped with a mat AND frame.
